Very thorough service. Check all fluids and even tire pressure. They even vacuum your car and do a good job. Fast and friendly atmosphere.

Went in on Friday 12/22/17 due to my car having very little heat. Was told it was low on antifreeze so they added some and told my husband we were all set, started to head home and lost heat. Took it right back in and they performed a standard flush which cost us $100. Got home and then had absolutely no heat. Called them when they reopened on Tuesday the 26th and they told me to bring it in on the 27th for a diagnostic. I took it in due to my husband being at work and was told I needed a new thermostat which they tried to charge me around $140 to do. Keep in mind my husband replaced that already 6 months prior, so I told them I would not need them to do that because my husband is capable of replacing that himself. The part only cost us $20 and takes 10 minutes to put in. Once he was finished and drove it around for a good 15 minutes we still had no heat. So we called them back on the 30th and asked how much they charge for a heater core flush because we believe the heater core is clogged. My husband was told there is no such thing as a heater core flush and that we probably need a new heater core. So my husband asked how much that would cost because we know you have to tare apart the dash of our equinox to replace it. The gentleman couldn't even give us a quote but he did state that ball park range would be a $1,000. We called Muffler Man and they told us that you can flush just the heater core and that would only cost us $50. Also got a quote of $700 for a heater core replacement. Will never take another vehicle to Pennzoil in Big Rapids again. All they are trying to do is rip people off.
I had an awful experience. I am a college student and was having some trouble with my truck. I knew it was my wheel barring and told them it was that. He proceeded to tell me that a bunch of things needed to be replaced on my truck. Which I knew couldn't be true because I replaced everything he told me needed to be done withing the last 7 months. I had the guy grease my barrings so it would get home and had my dad look at it when I got home (he's a mechanic) the guy had told me things were wrong that were in perfect condition. I would definitely stay away from this place if you don't want to get ripped off.
Tried to rip me off. They wanted to throw parts at my wife's car and I'm a mechanic and know better
