Went for the beer and hamburger special on Thursday night. We both ordered our burgers medium. Mine was perfect and they cooked my buddies on the grill for 2 years
Good location. Everything was nice, the bed was comfortable. Only complaint is that some of the carpet looked old and like it could use a cleaning.
We stayed for an over night get away. The email we received said check in was 4pm and check out was noon. Unfortunately check in was 3pm and check out was 11am. The air temperature in the pool area is really warm, but the pool itself was freezing. No in room fridge or microwave and you have to pay for breakfast. The cleaning staff knocked on our door at a few minutes after 9am, mind you we were there to get some rest and relaxation, which clearly woke us up, they shouldn't be knocking on your door until you have checked out. The plus side, the beds were really comfortable and the hall and neighbors were quite.
This hotel has a mold/mildew problem. I visited friends in different rooms this weekend and I found the problem in at least 2 rooms. The smell was bad. And what I am guessing is a related problem, Our shower was backing up and because of the 1 inch shower pan and slow drain water was over flowing the shower. We told the front desk about it and they said if it does overflow dont worry about it and they would take responsibility for the over flowing water. And why were the facility rooms and laundry rooms left open ALL the time? On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff was very nice and remembered me even though I didn't regularly speak with them. The rooms were very cozy and warm. My trip lasted a little over two weeks and I'm not one to need room service. I did receive a note from room service stating it had been a few days without service but they understood I did not need it. There's a cute little restaurant attached to the hotel with surprisingly good food. Easily best hotel stay I've ever had.
